Black Coffee opens up about failed marriage with Enhle
In January this year, Black Coffee reached out to MacG for an interview. This was after the Grammy-winning producer tweeted that the day his ex (Enhle) accused him of “physically harming her” and that nothing was ever the same since.
Speaking to MacG, Coffee said that it pained him that people have so many opinions about him. He revealed that in the beginning, it was all love with Enhle.
“You meet and you have a common goal and one of the goals is understanding each other’s pain. The fixer and the pleaser in me get attracted to someone who needs fixing. And it becomes a common thing because I think she is the same,” he continued.
“One of the things that I want is to give that dusty little boy as many hugs as I can. This is why I’m doing all the internal work that I’m doing.”
Reflecting on why their marriage failed, Black Coffee believes they both wanted different things.
“I can safely say that we both wanted different things. Then problems start. That’s why today I know for a fact that I won’t get married again.
“I am not in a better space in understanding who I am. I also understand the kind of pressure society puts you in without ever backing you up”
