South African celebrities did not disappoint at the Bridgerton soireé on Saturday, 26 March.
Hosted by Zozibini Tunzi, the event was a star-studded affair which served all the glitz that fans of the regal drama expected.
With the second season of the show streaming on Friday, Netflix put together the prestigious social event of the season.
Despite calls for Tunzi to not wear the David Tlale dress that was picked for the former Miss Universe, the gown was precisely the over-the-top look Her Majesty, The Queen would have been proud of.
The Queen from the Bridgerton series is known for her flamboyant and eccentric royal flair. Tunzi delivered a look that would have been received Her Majesty’s thumbs up.
Over 400 SA A-listers were hosted, including Connie Ferguson, Lee Khuzwayo, Phupho Gumede, Refilwe Modiselle and Namitha Ben-Mazwai.
