Not even an injury to his face could stop Springbok Captain Siya Kolisi from celebrating with fans after the Boks victory over the All Blacks on Saturday, 31 August.
As the Ellis Park Stadium erupted in elated screams over the Boks’ 31-27 win over the All Blacks, Siya made his way around the stadium, jumping the barriers to take selfies, hug and shake hands with fans.
The feel-good video captured by SuperSport shows Siya, a beloved national hero taking the time to recognise Bok supporters, young and old.
Big smiles, excited jumps and many opportune selfie moments were captured in the 6 minute long video.
Despite noticeable swelling around his face, Siya allowed Bok fans to enjoy their lucky moment of meeting and greeting him.
One of the most heartwarming moments was when a group of young boys, congratulated Siya, saying “well done, well done!”

The extent of Siya’s injuries has not been confirmed but it is suspected the Bok star suffered a facial fracture.
Should it be a facial fracture, Siya will be ruled out of the second clash with the All Blacks on Saturday, 07 September.
