Celebrity blogger Musa Khawula details how he was beaten up by Mihlali Ndamase, who he refers to as “Mary Jane light”.
Mary Jane is the name of Leeroy’s estranged wife whom the businessman reportedly left after he had met Mihlali.
Khawula took to his YouTube channel, The Pope of Pop Culture, to share how he ended up at Mihlali’s boyfriend, Leeroy Sidambe’s offices.
“I heard a story that I needed to verify, so I called Leeroy and he was like, ok cool, come through to my offices and we can talk. So, my friend and I went through on Thursday last week, (29 June) after we went to grab some food and drinks at a hotel.
I spoke to Leeroy on the phone and he was the one who invited me over to his offices to have a face-to-face.
Then we get there and we’re waiting, and Mihlali is there, and we go to greet her and I can see, this b**ch is mad. She’s so angry.
And I’m like why is she is so mad? Then I remember that it’s because of the things I said about her mother because she’s married to that younger man.
Anyways, MJ lite goes to make a coffee and next thing she comes back with this boiling a** hot water and she throws it towards me.
And I’m like what is happening. Then Mihlali hits me with her iPhone on my head, near my eye. It’s like Mihlali’s wish was to f**ken get my eye.”
Khawula who was drinking throughout his recounting of the incident said it’s been a rough few days, and he was shocked when he realized that he had a bump on his head after Mihlali hit him.
“When I asked Mihlali if she can see what she did, instead of being sorry, she just laughed and said she’s going to beat me up some more. After that security came and my friend and I left, and we just couldn’t believe it.”
Khawula went public about the assault on Saturday, 01 July when Mihlali attended the Durban July, and has since become a meme on social media.
