Somizi’s estranged husband Mohale Motaung has been afforded the opportunity by Showmax to tell his side of the story in response to allegations Somizi raised in Living The Dream With Somizi.
Mohale admits to cheating on Somizi at the beginning of their relationship. He says it’s something that he is not proud of.
I mean it was hurtful for me to see him being that hurt. I can’t even sit here and say there was a reason for it happening. That was just not on.
Somizi found out about the cheating through a mutual friend, says Mohale.
Since the news about their divorce broke, it has been reported that Mohale wants 50 percent. He denies this.
The very first letter we sent to Somizi on the 25th of June 2021 stated that I want my clothing, I want the car which he bashed. I want the money for the wedding which belong to the both of us and that was it.
And it clearly states in that letter thereof that each party is to retain their assets, their provident and pension funds and each party is also to retain their investments thereof.
Mohale says he was shocked to find out about this.
In fact, in response to the letter that we sent to him that he sent to us on the 25th of July, he suggested that we go for division of joint estate. To my surprise, he then goes on to his show and says I asked him for 50% of his asset.
