Mo Flava was shocked by the audacity of a group of girls who sent over their bill for him to pay.
The Metro FM presenter was DJ’ing at a gig on Friday night when he was presented by the girls’ bill by their waiter.
Taking to Twitter, Mo Flava expressed his shock that the girls would assume he would pay for their bill when he doesn’t even know them,
“A group of ladies just told the waiter to bring their bill of R3,394 to me and I must pay. Why would I pay for drinks ordered by people I don’t even know? What have people become?”
The ladies eventually apologised to the media personality but he laughed that it wasn’t enough for him to even consider paying for their bill.
“Shame, the one girl came and apologised afterwards. Wasn’t enough to change my mind though. I didn’t pay.”

The responses on Twitter reaffirmed Mo Flava’s sentiments, with a number of men sharing their similar experiences.
“Also paid a bill not so long ago. Lady literally came to join us and a group of friends. Out of courtesy, I asked what she wanted and she ordered her drink. Then suddenly, she indicates to the waiter to bring her bill since she’s changed to our table. literally passed her bill to me.”
“It was happened to us, ladies ordered Mumm champagne. Then they wanted to leave without paying at Coffee Polokwane. We closed the door, and a fight ensued between us. The bouncers forced us to pay for alcohol we didn’t consume. The bill was around R8 K.”
Other women also found the girls’ actions unacceptable, questioning why they would go out if they couldn’t afford to cover their expenses for the night.
“It’s tough for everyone. Why go out if you cannot afford their own drinks?”
“Boggles my mind how you go out, eat and drink knowing very well you don’t have money!”
