Miss SA has announced this year Top 30 finalists.
Nine aspirants from Gauteng, five from the Western Cape, four from KwaZulu-Natal, three from the Eastern Cape, and one each from the North West and the Western Cape make up the top 30.
Two contenders each have been registered in the Northern Cape and Limpopo, while one each has been registered in Mpumalanga and the Free State.

The announcement has come as surprise to many who follow the pageant, following the drastically amended rules earlier this year.
The announcement revealed that two married women and a mother have made history by placing in the top 30, while Natasha Joubert, who finished second runner-up in 2020 when Shudufhadzo Musida was crowned Miss SA, made an unexpected comeback.
Van der Vyver, 27, Keaoleboga Nkashe, and Melissa Nayimuli (202who were all placed in the top 10 in 2020 while Bryoni Govender made the top 12 in 2018 also made a comeback to the Top 30.
