South African Music Award-winning Afro-Soul vocalist and singer Lerato Moipone Molapo, popularly known as Lira is beaming with excitement as she turns 43 years old.
The Feel Good hitmaker, took to social media to express her gratitude for life, saying ‘Life is good despite all the challenges that exist.”
Her birthday message was one filled with thanksgiving and a celebration of life.
“Blessed to celebrate another year. I do feel serene peaceful and calm. Life is good despite all the challenges that exist. Happy to be alive and well!”
“What I live about birthdays is how people take time to wish you well and to let know how you impact their lives. Reminding you that your days on this planet have meant something, that your presence matters.
I’m so grateful and so happy nje!” wrote Lira.
She also wished Quincy Jones, Michael Caine as well as Albert Einstein who also share a birthday with her.

In November last year she celebrated her classic album Feel Good with a special release.
She collaborated with Prince Kaybee to deliver an amapiano version of the song.
With a career spanning over two decades, Lira is giving back to the next generation of musicians.
In February, she announced an exciting partnership with MyMastery, an online platform that offers a unique learning experience, giving users important lessons she’s learned over the years in her music career.
