Influencer and businesswoman Mihlali Ndamase opens up about the qualities she looks for in a partner.
Mihlali was recently a guest on L-Tido’s podcast and she shared the key-qualities she looks for in a man.
The guy must have a ‘sense of humour, emotional intelligence and be family-centered.’
Because she comes from a family where they are ‘close,’ Mihlali can’t be with someone who ‘doesn’t care about their family.’
Over and above that Mihlali wants a companion who is ‘God-fearing.’
“I come from a Christian home and I like knowing that I’m going people who don’t believe in what you believe in can make your religion a mockery so I’ve never wanted to be in a situation where I’m with my partner and he finds me going to church a joke,” she told L-Tido.
“Another reason why is so that when times are tough we can both kneel down and pray because when two or more gather in his name it is powerful.”
In addition to this, Mihlali deflated the narrative that she only dates rich men.
“I don’t date people based on their occupation,” she made clear. “If you are a good person and we have chemistry, then I’m willing to give it a chance.”
Preferably, she doesn’t want to date anyone in the ‘same space’ as her. “I prefer not to. I like dating someone is far from what I do – a guy who just puts on a suit and tie and goes to work,” she added.
Mihlali is currently dating business man Leeroy Sidambe. “I love my man. We get along and he treats me like a queen,” she gushed about him.
