When it rains it pours and in this case, “The River” banks collapse.
In the space of three days, three lead actors have left The River 1 Magic and now there are reports that another lead star has left the show.
According to reports, Lunathi Mampofu who plays Emma in the telenovela will be taking a break from the show.
Phil Mphela reports that “Lunathi will be off the show temporarily while writers adjust the story to accommodate changes.”
The actress is yet to comment on the reports.
Kaya 959 reached out to 1 Magic to confirm the reports and we are still awaiting a comment from the broadcaster.
On Monday, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net, Shirley Adonisi, expressed thanks to Hlomla Dandala, Lawrence Maleka, and Tango Ncetezo for their contribution to The River 1 Magic.
“We would like to thank Hlomla, Lawrence, and Tango for their priceless contributions to the show, as well as the incredible work that went into giving their characters life.
“They all brought professionalism, dedication, presence, and charisma to the table, and we have loved working with them on the show. We look forward to seeing what their adventure holds.”
