This past International Women’s Day, US rapper Ludacris took to social media to honour his wife and daughters.
The rapper expressed his gratitude, writing, “There’s NOTHING IN THIS WORLD like a STRONG, INTELLIGENT, BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN! Happy International Women’s Day,” adding that he is “nothing” without them.
Ludacris shares two daughters, Chance and Cadence, with his wife, Eudoxie Bridges. He is also father to Cai and Karma, his 20-year-old daughters from previous relationships.
In a 2022 interview with Kindred by Parents, the 47-year-old opened up about being a father to four girls.
“I’m just trying to pour knowledge, understanding, and wisdom into them,” he said, explaining that he raises his daughters similarly to how he was raised.
He also shared his hope that he is guiding his daughters in “understanding their intelligence, their beauty, and their purpose here in the world—and that each of those may be different. They come from a strong lineage of women and heritage.”
