Lisa Marie Presley, the only known child of Rock n Roll Legend Elvis Presley has died at 54 years old, her mother Priscilla Presley confirmed.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” her mother, Priscilla Presley, said in a statement.
Priscilla continued: “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known”.
It is reported that Lisa Marie was found unresponsive at her home in California, and later rushed to hospital during the early hours of Thursday, 12th January 2023.
Her mother has given no details about Lisa Marie’s possible cause of death, however TMZ reported that the singer and songwriter was found unresponsive in her bedroom by her housekeeper on Thursday morning.
It is also reported that her former husband Danny Keough, who also lives on the property, arrived and performed CPR on Lisa Marie.
According to TMZ, Lisa Marie suffered a full cardiac arrest before a bystander administered epinephrine, commonly known as adrenaline to help her regain a pulse.
Paramedics then arrived shortly, taking Presley to a hospital.
Both Lisa Marie and her mother Priscilla Presley were just at the Golden Globe Awards Tuesday evening in Beverly Hills supporting Austin Butler, who won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the movie “Elvis“.
