US rapper Coolio, known for his classic hit Gangstas Paradise has died at the age of 59.
Coolio was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of a friend’s house in Los Angeles by his manager.
Although the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, his manager suspects a heart attack.
Real name Leon Ivey Jr, Coolio was an American musician and producer who rose to stardom in the mid-1990s with his album Gangstas Paradise which won him a Grammy for Best Solo Performance.
Tributes have been pouring in for the rapper since his death was confirmed.
