New mom, Lamiez Holworthy praises pregnancy fitness workouts for her “post baby body.”
The celebrity DJ who welcomed her first child with husband Khuli Chana 2-months ago, has shown off a flat tummy that has her followers questioning whether she really had a baby recently.
While the compliments were welcomed by the South African DJ, Lamiez said that she managed to get her “post baby body” in check due to fun pregnancy workouts.
The 30-year old started these guided workouts whilst she was pregnant with her first son, Leano-Laone Zion Morule.
Lamiez continued the specialised online classes for moms-to-be and moms with babies throughout her pregnancy and went back after she gave birth.
Now, two months later the new mom is reaping the rewards with many pointing out that her tummy is “so flat”.
Lamiez shares with her followers that while she found a workout routine and a few nutrition tips and habits that work for her, there are still some body insecurities that she’s trying to find solutions for.
Keeping it real on Instagram, the much-loved personality, reminded women to be patient and kind to themselves because “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
“Thank you all so much for your compliments. I’ve seen your question, and truth is whilst our bodies aren’t the same, what worked for me is that I worked out throughout my pregnancy and went back after I gave birth.
I work out with my son now which makes it really fun. They’re health professionals, so the workouts are specially designed for pregnancy women and new moms.”
Lamiez works out 3 times a week, and wears a special belt she was given in hospital after her C-section.
“I wore it a day after my C-section, please check with your doctor first. I wear mine every day and alternate between that belt and a waist trainer.”
Breastfeeding also helps Lamiez to shed her pregnancy weight, and she drinks lots of water with lemon after meals.
