Kanye West turned up unannounced at the Skechers corporate offices and was “escorted” out by two executives, the shoe manufacturer stated in a statement on Wednesday.
The latest racist and anti-Semitic remarks made by West, also known as Ye, have grabbed headlines and cost him some lucrative design deals.
Ye arrived “unannounced and without invitation” at the Los Angeles offices, Skechers said, adding that he was “engaged in unauthorized filming.”
This month, the hip-hop musician made an appearance at a fashion show in Paris sporting a shirt bearing the slogan “White Lives Matter,” which was developed as a response to the Black Lives Matter movement.

He was banned from Twitter and Instagram a few days later for threatening to “Go death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.”
On Wednesday Skechers released a statement:
“Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West,”
“We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate anti-Semitism or any other form of hate speech.”
“Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation,” the company said Wednesday.
