Last week author and activist Zoleka Mandela revealed that she was joining a dating App in the hopes of finding a rich man.
This morning, Zoleka shares how she’s been finding the experience.
“Dear Diary, this dating app is where the danger is,” she wrote with a laughing emoji.
“Why didn’t anyone warn me about how exhausting it is, and the admin behind making the first move all the time – Plus I’ll be up chatting with this one and that one until the wee hours of the morning because I still like tall, dark skinned and bearded.”
The author says at the moment she is chatting with 12 guys and online dating “feels like it’s quite a lot!”
Zoleka has two dates lined up this week and she is undecided on what outfit to wear.
“Should I wear make-up and a lace front, I definitely won’t shave or tweeze and I’ll wear my period panty (because I will then very quickly be where the danger is).”
She plans to arrive at least an hour earlier than her date.
“I should probably arrive an hour early so I can run for my life (when he arrives) and not be seen having a thorough, anxiety attack and menopause induced hot flash too!!!”
