“It really means a lot” – Bonko Khoza reflects as the Showmax series ‘Red Ink’ ends.
South African actor Bonko Khoza, who is popularly known for his role as Mqhele Zulu on the Showmax original series The Wife has expressed gratitude for the hard work of the cast and crew of Showmax’s thriller series Red Ink.
On Tuesday, Khoza, who had received positive feedback for both the role and his previous personas, took to Instagram to write a lengthy post thanking everyone who had helped with the production.
In the eight-part thriller, an imprisoned serial killer (played by Bonko Khoza) approaches journalist-turned-publicist Lucy Khambule and asks her to share his story with the world.
Khoza also thanked the country for embracing his talent.
“Just wanted to take this moment to say thank you to all the viewers who came with us on this journey called Red Ink. It was an incredible task that was put before all of us. Thank you Mzansi thank you so much for accepting the work we did and enjoying and sharing and engaging. It really means a lot.” wrote Bonko Khoza
