Following part two of The Real Housewives of Durban Reunion, Jojo Robinson took a moment to reflect on her experience filming season 4.
Unfortunately, the reunion didn’t quite end the way Jojo had hoped. Despite this, she wanted to send love, peace, and happiness to her fellow cast members for the future.
Wishing her fellow cast members love, peace, and happiness for the future, she thanked her besties Maria and Nonku for their loyalty. To some viewers’ surprise, Jojo expressed disappointment over the fact that she and Sorisha couldn’t mend their broken relationship. “You meant something to me at some point, and that means something to me overall,” said Jojo in part.
She believes that she and newcomer Angel Ndlela have some unfinished business and that Zama doesn’t have to endure everything alone.
Despite her differences with Slee, she believes that under a different set of circumstances, they could’ve been good friends.
Additionally, she commended Ameigh Thompson for being such a good mother.
During season three, Jojo made the shocking announcement that she would be leaving the Real Housewives of Durban. This was amid growing tension within the group of ladies.
“I’m sorry, this is not how friendship works. Toxic behavior like this is not normal. We as a group had a massive platform to inspire our young girls and instead we have shown nothing but how to hate and fight.”
At the time Jojo noted that being around the housewives continued to trigger her.
“I was bullied in school and here I am watching similar things happening again on national TV for the whole country to see. In school I had people telling the one friend I had not to be friends with me. And it worked. At one point I remember I would eat lunch in the bathroom so no one would see that I had no friends. Me running away crying…because this is a past trauma I dealt with. And I am reliving it as an adult.”
She then boldly stated, ” I will never do housewives again.”
