Production company Ferguson Films has denied all claims that The Queen has been cancelled.
This comes after Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela reported on Monday, 28TH February 2022, that the Mzansi Magic production will not be renewed for another season.
In response to all these claims, Ferguson Films took to their Facebook account and denied claims that the series would be canceled after six seasons and seven years on television.
“FALSE NEWS! We are not going anywhere!”, Ferguson Films shared to their Facebook account.
Phil Mphela has also reported that Vuyo Ngcukana who plays the role of Schumacher was fired and that Brenda Ngxoli who plays the role of Noma, quit The Queen, due to salary issues.
These claims and reports have since been denied as Brenda refuted all claims of exploitation against the production company.
Ferguson Films has come to the defense of both actors, stating that none of them are leaving the well-known series nor were they fired.
“None of the actors are leaving The Queen Mzansi. No one has been fired. We have a good relationship with both and the rest of our actors. Thank you”
