Over the weekend actress and businesswoman, Connie Ferguson opened up to her followers about how much she’s been missing her late husband Shona Ferguson.
“I’ll never stop missing you. Hope you’re resting well my ANGEL. I LOVE YOU FOR ETERNITY.”
Connie Ferguson posted on social media.
Shona Ferguson passed on on the 30th of July 2021 in Johannesburg after reportedly battling Covid-19.
Connie Ferguson’s eldest daughter Lesedi revealed that Shona Ferguson has been on her mind a lot in recent days.
Sharing an old image of Shona, Lesedi notes that there has always been something about how he shot his photos.
“Even from ‘04. Your first headshots in our backyard. The light always created a halo around you. It was your aura reflected. An angel here, now an angel there.”
Lesedi continued: “I wish I could remember my dreams, then maybe I’ll remember your visits if you have visited recently. I miss that part of myself. I hope to get it back
“In the meantime, I’m gonna have that Lobster “Skrimp” Mac n cheese tonight in your memory. I miss you, dawg.”
Speaking about her last moments with Shona Ferguson on 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka,
Connie revealed that they had planned to renew their vows as they were going to be celebrating 20 years of marriage.
“We had this dance planned for our 20th. I remember when he was in hospital I kept on reminding him that he owes me a dance. The very early morning of the 30th I said to him one more day and it didn’t pan out that day.”
