As South Africa waits for the groundbreaking premiere of the electrifying series, Connie Ferguson has dedicated the latest season of Netflix’s Kings of Joburg to her late husband Shona.
The latest season is expected to have a number of surprises, with the previous season’s cliffhanger ending, fans were left wondering what would happen to the Masire family.
On January 27, the second season of the well-liked show premieres.

Connie, who co-owns of Ferguson Films, posted a trailer of the popular series on social media and said it is dedicated most amazing human being I have known, her late husband Shona Ferguson.
“Tik… Tok… We’re almost there. With the sudden and suspicious disappearance of the King of Joburg Simon Masire, the family struggles to adapt to a new king and new enemies in the City of Gold. Heavy is the crown, but it’s time to take back the city. Kings of Joburg season 2 coming January 27, only on Netflix.
