Boseman’s wife, Taylor Simone Ledward, is in control of his inheritance and has asked the court to divide the money equally between her and his parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, according to a report published Friday by Shadow and Act.
According to reports, Ledward filed a probate petition in Los Angeles in October 2020, asking the court to appoint her as the estate’s administrator.
Although they had been secretly dating before the actor’s cancer diagnosis four years prior to his death, she and Boseman had quietly wed before the actor’s passing.
Boseman’s family confirmed that he and Ledward had tied the knot in a statement announcing his death. “He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side,” the statement revealed.
