Bona Magazine returns to the shelves!
The announcement comes after The Board of Directors of Caxton & CTP Publishers & Printers Limited, announced in 2020 that they would be shutting down several magazines including Bona.
However, the beloved magazine has found a new home at Highbury Media.
Gracing the cover of the relaunch issue is television personality and model, Ayanda Thabethe. She spills on love, motherhood, and reaching new heights.
Calling on her followers to go and grab a copy of the magazine, Ayanda says she is “honoured” to be the cover star.
She expresses, “Bona is an iconic magazine that I’ve seen on shelves from a tender age all the way into my adulthood.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to be on the cover, share my story, and hopefully inspire someone.”
Furthermore, a thrilled Ayanda says she’s at a stage in her career where she is also rebranding.
“I’m in a period in my life where I too am being relaunched both personally and within my career spanning over 10 years in entertainment,” she shared.
“It feels like both the magazine and I are re-introducing our authentic selves but improved and better, it speaks volumes of an exciting future ahead that is filled with moments of alignment and dreams coming true!”
A couple of celebs including Boity, Thembisa Mdoda, and Thabsie congratulated her on being on the cover of the iconic magazine.
