Media personality Basetsana Kumalo proudly celebrated her second son, Kgosiitsile’s, 13th birthday, marking his official entry into his teenage years.
Well known for her heartfelt family celebrations on social media, Kumalo commemorated this special milestone with a touching video montage showcasing Kgosi’s journey from infancy to adolescence.
In a moving caption, the former Miss South Africa reflected on Kgosi’s premature birth at 34 weeks and his fighting spirit during those early days in the Neonatal ICU.
Kumalo offered heartfelt wishes for her son’s future, praying that he walks boldly in his destiny and reminding him of his inherent worth as he navigates his teenage years. Her words encouraged self-acceptance, the power of his voice, and the understanding that both good and difficult days are part of life.
“Watching you grow has been the joy of my life. Your bravery and resilience for life are a marvel to witness. Your quirkiness and wit are delightful. You are kind and considerate, generous with your love and affection. You have a presence and greatness imbued. You are smart and methodical, and your sense of humour is top tier,” Kumalo wrote.
