Former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo has once again melted hearts with a touching birthday message to her husband, Romeo Kumalo.
Celebrating 28 years together and 25 years of marriage, Basetsana took to social media to express her deep gratitude and love for the man she calls her anchor.
In her heartfelt post, Basi wrote, “I have been with you for 28 years and married to you for 25 years. Today, I get another opportunity to celebrate the gift of your life.”
She went on to describe Romeo as the cornerstone of their family, praising his devotion as a father and his unwavering support as a husband.
“When I say my prayers of thanksgiving, you are at the top of that list. There are a thousand reasons why I am grateful to have you in my life,” she shared.
“I get to raise our children with an incredible father, who’s absolutely devoted to them, who is a great role model, a positive influence in their lives, a man who loves them implicitly and wholeheartedly.”
Basetsana also highlighted Romeo’s role as her biggest cheerleader, saying, “Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings and always propelling me to pursue my dreams, never holding me back and always saying, ‘I am just here to see you come into your own and be the best version of yourself.’”
She expressed her appreciation for his continued support, even in the face of her “audacious goals and crazy dreams,” noting that he has always been “measured and encouraging.”
Her message concluded with a heartfelt prayer for her husband:
“My prayer for you is that God grants you the desires of your heart, blesses you with long life and good health. May the Lord bless the work of your hands. May your days be filled with joy, laughter, and abundant blessings,“ she added. “Happy birthday, love of my life. Happy birthday, Mashobane. Gosh, I’m mad about you.”
