Real Housewives of Durban star Annie Mthembu‘s beauty business has been nominated for the International Spa Awards in the Best Luxury Beauty Salon Category. Annie made the announcement on her social media.
Mthembu notes that she started her business with the sole purpose of “providing a luxury salon experience.”
“I wanted a space that took people out of their day-to-day and delivered them to a pampering haven. And I hope each guest who has walked through my door knows exactly what I’m talking about,” said Annie.
The International Spa and Beauty Awards is an acknowledged global award event scheme centered around businesses within the spa and beauty industry.
Annie Mthembu opens up about having an abortion
Annie Mthembu recently opened up about having an abortion. Speaking with Engineer Your Life podcast and said her partner helped her deal with her guilt.
“Before I started dating him I was scared of God. I had an abortion and that made me ashamed to the point where I couldn’t walk into church without crying. I couldn’t face God, I wanted to hide from him, I didn’t want to talk to him,” shared the reality television star.
“I know I make things about my husband a lot, but Kgolo saved me. I had completely given up on my relationship with God and he helped me find myself again and find my connection with God. He was the first man that made me stop feeling guilty and feels fine about the decision to have an abortion.”
