Last month it was announced that South African television legends Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo would be returning to Generations: The Legacy – a show that made them SA’s most-loved television duo.
Connie left Generations in 2016 for The Queen and Rapulana left the drama in 2020.
“Generations: The Legacy is proud to welcome two beloved guest performers in the month of April. Viewers will no doubt be delighted by the appearance of Karabo Moroka (played by Connie Ferguson) and Tau Mogale (Rapulana Seiphemo) who will grace our screens once more in their historic roles”, read a statement from the SABC.
The moment long-standing viewers had been waiting for finally arrived this week, Connie made her return this week for Mazwi’s funeral.
Mazwi was murdered by Abby while trying to offer money for his kidnapped cousin, Paul Moroka, played by Rebaone Kgosimore.

Mazwi Moroka was played by Musa Ngema. Taking to social media to bid viewers of the show farewell, Ngema expressed gratitude to the “cast, crew, and most importantly, the viewers over the last few years.”
