“An amazing time to be alive” – Mosa Motha reaches finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
27-year-old Musa Motha, a South African amputee dancer, raised the South African flag yet again on the world stage with a memorable performance that booked his spot on the Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) finals this week.
Musa’s journey has been one filled with many trials and tribulations, when he was younger, his dream was to play football professionally but at the age of eleven, he received a diagnosis of Oesteosacorma, a kind of bone cancer.
Motha first made a massive impression on the world in 2023 when he competed in Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) and advanced to the finals, where he amazed the judges with his bravery and demonstrated that, with the right mindset, nothing was impossible.
He was recently taken aback when golden confetti dropped all around him when Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell stood up and pressed the Golden Buzzer.
Cowell spoke briefly before he advanced Mothat to the final with the golden buzzer and said “There’s something so amazing about you and just everyone, I would look around, they were captivated.”

Musa uploaded photos of himself performing on stage to his social media accounts, documenting his proud moment of receiving the golden buzzer for the second time.
“We did it again. Mr. Double Golden Buzzer. @oprah once said – “I’ve come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that’s as unique as a fingerprint and that the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.”
