Adele recalls collapsing backstage at Vegas residency due to a sciatica attack.
Adele has talked about how she overcame a difficult moment when performing in Las Vegas, where she reportedly collapsed backstage after suffering a sciatica episode.
After a month-long absence, she only recently made her way back to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for her Weekends With Adele performances, which continue through till November.
According to the Sun, the singer said that following a flare-up of the spinal disease, a member of her production team discovered her unable to move backstage.
“They picked my whole body up off the floor.” said Adele,
Adele’s troubles with persistent back pain were previously noticeable as well.
In a video on the Daily Star, she spoke about her condition at a previous Las Vegas performance while interacting with the audience and shooting T-shirts into the crowd with a hand-held cannon.
“I’ve got two more, I’ve just got to get over to the other side of the stage. I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica,”

Adele provided insight into her life with the crippling back disease in a 2021 interview with The Face, saying:
“I’ve been in pain with my back for, like, half of my life, really. It flares up, normally due to stress or from a stupid bit of posture.”
“Where I got my tummy strong, down at the bottom, which I never had before, my back don’t play up as much. It means I can do more, I can run around with my kid a little bit more.” said Adele
