Actress Winnie Ntshaba is overjoyed as her younger sister, Zodwa Ntshaba, recently graduated.
“It’s a graduation ekhaya (at home)!” Winnie exclaimed on social media. “Our not-so-little-anymore baby Asanda graduated today. @zodwantshaba – super proud of you, lil sis.”
Zodwa responded warmly: “Oh mtakamah @winnie_ntshaba, thank you for always being supportive, Mgabe.”
Winnie Ntshaba, born Bawinile Ntshaba, is a highly acclaimed South African actress with a significant presence in the country’s entertainment industry.
She gained widespread recognition for her role as Khethiwe Buthelezi in the popular SABC 1 soap opera Generations, a character she portrayed for many years and which remains iconic among her fans.
Ntshaba’s career extends beyond Generations, with notable roles in various television series such as Isibaya, The River (as Zodwa Dlomo), The Herd (as Mam’Ngadi), and House of Zwide (as Faith Zwide). She has also appeared in films, including Yesterday, which marked an early breakthrough in her career.
In addition to her acting achievements, Ntshaba founded the Royalty Soapie Awards, an event that recognises talent and excellence within the South African soap opera industry.
