TIME Magazine has made a significant move into the digital sphere, releasing its first-ever TIME100 Creators List, celebrating 100 of the most influential digital voices shaping global culture, commerce, and information.
Gracing the worldwide cover of this inaugural issue is 23-year-old Twitch streamer Kai Cenat.
This new initiative by TIME celebrates the growing power and impact of content creators.
Cenat’s presence on the cover is particularly notable as he represents a new generation of digital influencers who have built massive audiences and multi-million dollar empires directly through online platforms.
With 18 million followers, Cenat is a dominant force on Twitch, known for his improvised skits, gaming, monologues, and interviews with pop culture figures.
Beyond cover star Kai Cenat, the list includes titans like MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), YouTube’s most subscribed creator, Khaby Lame, TikTok’s most-followed personality.
The diverse list also features podcasting giant Joe Rogan, self-help guru Jay Shetty.
The selection process for the TIME100 Creators list focused on English-language creators who built their careers natively on digital platforms like YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Substack, rather than those who transitioned from traditional media.
