Dj Sbu has announced that his album will be launching on his birthday on the metaverse.
The popularity of this new technology is getting the attention of many forward-thinking futurists.
The metaverse is a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection, according to the New York Times, “The metaverse is the convergence of two ideas that have been around for many years: virtual reality and a digital second life.”
This will be one of the first times a South African artist releases music on the metaverse.
Sbu says he bought a huge amount of land on the metaverse and can’t wait to share the experience with his fans.
