“It feels amazing, it shows that hard work and patience is important and believing in yourself is key. Especially when there are so many people who try to belittle you. Like with me coming from the background that I do, it’s natural for anyone to say I’m an industry plant. So I have to work harder to prove myself,” CIZA shared with Unathi.
Born into a musical family, his mom is Nhlanhla Nciza of Mafikizolo fame and his dad, Thembinkosi “TK” Nciza is a music mogul who discovers talents and makes them stars. Music is in his blood and he has followed the footsteps of his parents.
Excited about his “Golden Boy Pack EP” featuring artists such as DJ Maphorisa, Major League DJz and Tanzanian superstar record producer Marioo, there are so many projects that have gradually changed the young star’s life.
His short term goals are to work with young black entrepreneurs and represent Gen Z and be an inspiration for the youth. With so many issues affecting the youth and unemployment, he wants to work as hard as possible to make a difference and be an inspiration to show them it’s possible.
