Lungelo Mpangase opens up about grief and gratitude in an emotional Instagram farewell.

South African actress Lungelo Mpangase has announced that she will be stepping away from social media to take a much-needed break, allowing herself time to rest, reset, and heal.
In an emotional Instagram post, Mpangase shared a picture of herself with three babies whom she described as “carrying pieces of someone she misses deeply.”
Reflecting on the pain of grief, she wrote:
“Their love reminded me that even in grief, there’s still connection, still light.”
She went on to reveal that this would be her final post for now, thanking everyone who has supported her with kindness and love.
Under the post, followers flooded the comments with messages of encouragement and virtual hugs, wishing the actress healing and strength.
Mpangase is best known for her captivating role in The Wife on Showmax, the hit series inspired by Dudu Busani-Dube’s novel Hlomu the Wife.
She appeared in the third season as Xoli, Sambulo’s love interest, a character known for her hypersexual nature and fierce independence.
