South African musician and former Idols SA finalist Brenden Praise remembers his mother a year after her passing.
Taking to social media, he wrote:
“365 days have passed and not a single one has felt complete. Every day the lack of presence becomes more apparent. I miss you and I love you.”
Brenden’s mother passed away peacefully in September 2024 after a long illness, though she was able to communicate with her loved ones in her final days.
When announcing her mother-in-law’s passing in 2024, Brenden’s wife, Mpoomy Ledwaba, shared:
“She is safe in the arms of her Father. Thank you for all your love, calls and care. Details regarding services and the funeral will be shared.”
In early 2024, Brenden Praise sat down for an exclusive interview on My Top 10 at 10 with Tbose.
During the chat with Tbose, Brenden opened up about the decision he and his wife, Mpoomy Ledwaba, made to tie the knot at a young age, admitting that it wasn’t an easy choice. They got married in 2017.
“We went to see both parents and funny enough her parents were cool. I think at the time people knew me from Idols so when we met her parents, they probably had an idea of who I was and knew I would take care of their daughter.
