India is left battered after a category-3 cyclone hit the west coast, in what the country’s meteorological department is calling the strongest storm on record.

The cyclone is the latest destructive force to hit the Indian country, which is still in the grips of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has claimed the lives of over 270,000 people to date.
