Music lovers all over Africa are showing Burna Boy and Wizkid some love following their big night at the 2021 Grammys.
The Nigerian superstars both took home a coveted gold-plated gramophone on Sunday night.
The Grammys were hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah.

‘Brown Skin Girl’
Wizkid’s collaboration with Beyonce and Blue Ivy, ‘Brown Skin Girl’, won the ‘Best Music Video’ category.
South African rapper Anatii is listed as one of the songwriters on the song.
At just nine years old, Blue Ivy is the second-youngest person to win a Grammy.
Beyonce also made history at the awards. She is officially the most decorated singer in Grammy history.
The ‘Black Parade’ hitmaker also won best ‘R&B performance’ and ‘Best Rap Song’ for ‘Savage Remix’.
“I am so honored, I am so excited… I’ve been working my whole life, since [I was] 9 years old, and I can’t believe this happened. This is such a magical night,” she said while accepting her 28th Grammy.

Burna Boy’s ‘Twice as Tall’ honoured
Burna Boy won the ‘Best Global Music Album’ for his hit album, ‘Twice As Tall’.
He shared a clip on Instagram showing the moment he got word about his big win.

Cassper Nyovest was one of the first stars to congratulate Wizkid and Burna Boy on their wins.
