AKA’s highly-anticipated Mass Album is finally out.
Following a packed listening session with the Megacy on Thursday evening, AKA’s team dropped Mass Country at exactly 00h00 on Friday.
The album amassed over 7 million streams in just a few hours of its release.
AKA collaborated on the track Dangerous with Blxckie and Nadia Nakai.
Speaking at the listening session last night, Nadia said it was “part of their love language to make music together.”
“We worked on multiple songs together. This was just the second last song that we worked on together (It was on the week that he. passed away).”
Nadia looked up to AKA as a musician for the longest time.
“For obvious reasons, we couldn’t make music together. It’s great that we were able to make music together from a lover’s perspective and not just as a collaboration and that’s why this so is so special to me.”
Bragga and Kiernan had hopes of sharing the stage together.
“Kiernan and I used to think that we were Beyonce and Jay Z. We wanted to have our own moment on stage,” shared Nadia Nakai.
