Black Motion have downplayed rumours of a split after introducing new member, Kabelo Kamo, aka Problem Child.
The highly acclaimed duo, which consists of Bongani Mohosana, also known as Murdah Bongz, and Thabo Smol.
Rumours the group had parted ways started after Murdah Bongz revealed a new solo album dedicated to his and DJ Zinhle’s daughter, Asante.
Murdah Bongz also changed his stage name to Mörda, and was absent at a few gigs that Black Motion was booked for.
The duo were set to make an appearance at the Tastic Heritage Festival over the weekend but Mörda was seemingly replaced by Kamo.
Meanwhile, fans of the group have blamed DJ Zinhle for instigating the rumoured split, after Thabo Smol and Kabelo Kamo showed up for an interview without Mörda.

Women won again 😭
Rumours the group split first started in April but the duo released a statement dismissing this.
Mörda’s new album was given a plug by Black Motion’s social media pages, which may have been an indication that perhaps Mörda just wanted to experiment on his own for a bit and do his thing.
