COVID-19 might have put a damper on some of her projects, but Bonang Matheba is still moving full steam ahead with her plans to build her brand in America.
Queen B first talked about her dreams of moving to the US in late 2019.
She told the Sunday Times that she has been considering temporarily relocating for years, but these things do not happen overnight.
“I’ve been very strategic with the moves around my career but just like fine wine, success takes a very long time.
“Unfortunately, in America, and in most parts of the world, in order to get the job done, you need to be on location,” the 33-year-old said at the time.
Bonang did not reveal much about what she wanted to do in the USA, but knowing Queen B, it will probably be big and bold.
Conquering SA and the rest of Africa
Just when you think the TV and radio personally has reached the pinnacle of success, she surprises her fans with an exciting new project that takes her brand to the next level.
Bonang has built a media empire that is admired by all.
Not only has she created a strong brand in South Africa, but in other parts of Africa as well.
A few months before South Africa went into lockdown, Bonang was working her magic at the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival in Nigeria.
Next stop, America
Bonang’s manager told All4Women that her US plans are 100% still happening.
“Indeed, very much still on the cards, she has a lot of projects kicking off,” Davin Phillips told the publication.
Watch out world, Bonang Matheba is coming!
