On The Blind Spot this Wednesday, Anonymous is distressed that her husband is not thinking clearly after communicating his plans to resign from his job and start a business.
“My husband is frustrated with his job. He feels no one values his time and energy and has hinted that he wants to resign and start his own business with his retirement package.
“While I support my husband, I don’t think that this is a good idea because we have three young kids and I don’t make much money at my job. He says ‘I am not taking his mental health into consideration.’
“But, there is no guarantee that the business will take off fast enough. I have suggested that he starts the business while working, that way we don’t run the risk of losing everything at once. However, he is not having it. Am I being unreasonable?,” shared Anonymous.
Kganya believes ‘Anonymous’ is not thinking clearly and should take his time.
“I understand that he is frustrated, however, starting a business. while you are frustrated is way different when you are actually doing it.
“He must start the business first and if it does well, then he can flirt with the idea of quitting his job,” said Kganya.
Chester says “Sometimes it’s not always about money, rather have little money with a happy mental state.”
