Hefty prison sentence for police officers who interfered with high-profile ANC murder case
Two former police officers and three accomplices have been sentenced to 17 years in prison for attempting to interfere with a high-profile ANC murder case. They were paid R120,000 to influence witnesses linked to the killing of Thulani Nxumalo. The sentencing marks another breakthrough in efforts to tackle politically motivated killings in KwaZulu-Natal.
