The 2018 Oscars took place last night, a showcase of some of the most groundbreaking films created last year. The event, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, had historical highlights being made when Jordan Peele became the first black person to win in the Best Original Screenplay category for his movie “Get Out.”
The star film of the night was definitely “The Shape of Water”, leading the nominations with 13 nods going home with four wins. Other films that stood out were “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” and “Darkest Hour”.
