COVID-19 has had a severe impact on the lives of millions of people and families around the world.
It has robbed many children of their parents and millions have lost their jobs.
Actor Samkelo Ndlovu wants to help those severely affected by the pandemic.
She took to social media to announce her non-profit organisation called, ‘The Samkelo Ndlovu Foundation’.
The foundation will offer aid to children and women who are battling with the dire effects of the virus.
“Friends, in my long overdue pursuit of philanthropy, I have begun a registered non-profit organization in response to Covid19 and the effects that the lockdown restrictions have on women and children; as well as leaders of child headed homes who’s parents are diseased by Covid19 or anything else,” she wrote on Twitter.

She has asked those who are affected to contact her for help.
“Please help us by following our page and DM’ing us any story or person you know of who is the leader of a child headed home or single mother or child in need of assistance. Please include their contact details. We are not looking for donations but for you to help us locate our friends in need of assistance,” she wrote.
The singer says as her foundation grows, it will be able to help more people.
“And as we grow, we will grow in strength and resources to aid us to lend our helping hand even further,” she wrote.
