South African house music duo Black Motion has given the world a surprise performance when they became the latest guests on NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series.
Black Motion’s Tiny Desk Concert was shot at former president Nelson Mandela’s Johannesburg home under the direction of acclaimed TV & Film director Zolani Phakade.
The performance started with hit song Mayibuye iAfrica which speaks to their sound that is deeply rooted in the African identity, the song asks the continent to return to its rich history and culture.
