Grammy award-winning R&B singer Chris Brown is under police investigation after a woman claims he assaulted her during an argument.
The unidentified woman filed a charge of battery which will be referred to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office while the incident is investigated.
During the heated exchange the woman accuses Brown of smacking her on the head so violently that her weave fell out. No other injuries were reported and Brown has not issued a statement about the incident.
His attorney is yet to respond. This isn’t the first time Chris Brown has been implicated in assault, in 2009 he pleaded guilty to physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
His punishment was probation time and community service. He later broke his probation in a separate incident in 2014 and served a year in prison as a result.

Then in 2016 a woman accused Brown of threatening her with a firearm. Brown’s former girlfriend Karreuche Tran accused the No Guidance singer of making violent threats towards her and she filed for a restraining order.
Several fans have started calling for Chris Brown to be de-platformed since this latest incident of alleged assault surfaced.
If “cancel culture” was really a thing, Chris Brown wouldn’t be a thing anymore, and we wouldn’t be reading about yet another assault accusation against him.

If you listen to and support Chris Brown, please kindly stop speaking to me. This man is abusive, reckless, and the epitome of misogyny and harmful celebrity culture. The fact he has made music and money since his assault on Rihanna in 2009 says a lot about us as a society.
