Several roads, informal settlements, low-lying areas and bridges have been affected. As a result of the floods, drivers are urged to cautious on the roads as mudslides, rockfalls and sinkholes are possible.
The worst isn’t over yet with snow still expected to fall this weekend over high peaks like Matroosberg and Cedarberg causing temperatures to plummet.
