The Miss South Africa organisation has unveiled its Top 12 finalists, who are set to take centre stage at the Miss South Africa 2026 finale at the Sandton Convention Centre on 14 November 2026.
The twelve women will share one of South Africa’s most recognised pageantry platforms, each bringing her own story, ambitions and vision for how she would serve the country as its next reigning queen.
More than a beauty contest, Miss South Africa is a platform that champions women’s leadership, purpose and social impact.
The finalists have earned their place in the competition, and one of them will be crowned by the current Miss South Africa, Qhawekazi Mazaleni, who has consistently highlighted the importance of literacy during her reign.

Together, the finalists reflect a generation of South African women committed to shaping a stronger future for their communities and the country.

While one finalist will ultimately be crowned Miss South Africa 2026, all twelve women will take on a broader role as ambassadors of Empower Youth Africa (EYA).
The platform will give the finalists an opportunity to contribute to programmes and partnerships aimed at expanding access to opportunities for young people across the country.
Empower Youth Africa focuses on five strategic pillars:
- Technology and digital inclusion
- Entrepreneurship and enterprise development
- Education and skills for the future
- Health and wellness
- Civic leadership and Pan-African collaboration
This year’s finale will be guided by its theme Imbokodo, representing resilience, determination and the belief that leadership is measured not only by personal achievement, but also by the value created for others.
The finale will bring together leaders from business, government, civil society, media, sport and the creative industries to celebrate South African excellence, ambition and possibility.
More than just a beauty contest, at its heart lies a simple belief: when young women are empowered to lead, entire communities benefit.
