The hit Mzansi Magic reality series returns in August as the Mseleku siblings navigate relationships, family expectations, business struggles and life beyond their famous surname.

One of South Africa’s most popular reality shows, Izingane zeS’thembu, is returning to Mzansi Magic on Thursday, 20 August 2026, at 8 PM.
The “realnovela”, which is a spin-off of Uthando neS’thembu, follows businessman Musa Mseleku’s children as they navigate young adulthood while growing up in one of South Africa’s most famous polygamous families.
According to Mzansi Magic, the fourth season sees the Mseleku children confronting the realities of life, including struggling businesses, complicated relationships and the pressure of carrying on the family legacy.
“Each of them must find their own way. With their father’s health not being what it used to be, they have to grow up and step up in taking the legacy forward. They have to prove they are capable of building a future that goes beyond the Mseleku name,” the channel said.
Among the returning cast members are the often-controversial older siblings Mpumelelo Mseleku, Sne Mseleku, Lwandle Mseleku, Abongwe Mseleku, and Mpiloenhle “Mpilo” Mseleku.
The younger Mseleku children, Mnini, Owami, Mawande and Thando, are also returning, alongside familiar faces including Lwandle’s partner, Khwezi Mazibuko, and Mpumelelo’s aspiring wives, Tirelo Kale and Amahle Biyela.
Speaking to exclusively to Mzansi Magic, Mpilo said this is set to be the realest season yet.
“It’s not just about the drama, it’s about growth, family, friendships, resilience and seeing different sides of the people you’ve come to know over the years. I think viewers will laugh with us, cry with us and hopefully take something meaningful from the journey,” she said.
Episodes of the show will air every Wednesday and Thursday.
