The Siz The World team recently weighed in on Sizwe Dhlomo’s story of his car breaking down on his way to work.
After experiencing an electrical malfunction in the middle of the road, Sizwe detailed the events of the morning while listeners shared their thoughts on what might have caused the fault.
On Wednesday morning, Sizwe was late for First Thing First when his car suddenly broke down. Despite the setback, he managed to broadcast with the team via his phone while waiting for roadside assistance.
“I get to the traffic light and all the electronics go blank,” he explained. “Doors lock. I can’t open anything. Not even the boot. I came out and called someone else to come and pick me up and then I called roadside assistance.”
Fortunately, a loyal listener recognised him and waited with him until help arrived.
Sizwe shared the full experience on First Thing First. Listen to the podcast to hear the complete encounter.
Additionally, the Siz The World team and listeners weighed in on whether Sizwe should contribute towards the debt of the “Good Samaritan” who helped when he was stuck this morning.
